Boston Healthcare Ventures, LLC (BHV) is a consulting firm and venture sponsor based in Beijing and Boston dedicated to developing new business ventures in healthcare and education in China and East Asia. BHV uniquely leverages the intellectual property assets of leading American institutions such as Harvard University and its affiliated healthcare organizations. BHV also works with companies and sponsors in China to develop ventures that deliver innovative healthcare services and products, including extensive training programs in China.
BHV sponsors and launches operating companies that deliver healthcare services in China, working together with strategic partners from both sides of the Pacific. BHV is currently organizing the development of proton centers in China, as well as actively engaged in developing aging-related businesses in China.
Engaged by companies in China, BHV searches for partners in the US and Israel for new business opportunities in healthcare and bio-tech. Boston, widely considered the bio-tech capital of the world, is home not only to Harvard University and its affiliated hospitals, but also to MIT, Northeastern, and other prominent universities engaged in leading-edge research and education in healthcare. Roughly one-third of the research funds of the National Institute of Health are allocated to institutions in Boston. BHV partners have long affiliations with and enjoy access to these universities, their related hospitals, and the bio-tech firms in the greater Boston area. BHV also enjoys similar access in Israel.
